We are excited to welcome a creative and technically skilled Video Technician to our growing team. As a Video Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic devices within our stores, including video displays, sound systems, and communication networks. Your role will involve operating and managing equipment such as video walls, projectors, audio devices, and more. You will also collaborate with our creative team to brainstorm, edit, and produce engaging video content that aligns with our brand vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the project management system (Asana) with current project statuses.
- Prepare technical diagrams, communicate with overseas vendors, and manage equipment procurement and delivery.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot in-store video equipment, projection mapping tools, and A/V systems for live events and displays.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Innovations to develop new content ideas.
- Create visually appealing graphics, photos, videos, and other creative assets that capture attention.
- Provide technical support, conduct sound and video checks, adjust settings, and resolve any technical issues.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and using power tools to build structures for equipment installation.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe products, including After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Substance, and Premiere.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Experience with video editing and video production is essential.
- Knowledge of 3D software such as Shapr3D, Autodesk, Maya, or Blender, and familiarity with 3D animation is a plus.
- Knowledge of Asana and Tinkerer for project management.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing technical requirements.
- Must be willing to travel as required for installations and events.
- Graphic design skills are an advantage.
