Job Summary: Responsible for leading the visual merchandising strategy across all retail locations, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role requires multi-unit experience to develop and execute compelling in-store displays, seasonal promotions, and the overall visual direction. The ideal candidate is data-driven, using sales and performance analytics to inform merchandising decisions. Additionally, this role will collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments, including marketing, sales, and operations, and work closely with store planning on retail design, new store construction, and special projects to enhance the overall brand experience.
Visuals | Key Responsibilities
- Continue to develop Aroma360’s Visual Merchandising Strategy to drive sales and enhance the customer experience across all US locations, and soon to be international expansion.
- Maintain and Manage Visual Guidelines to ensure consistency across all retail locations.
- Manage a team of Regional VM’s on West Coast, Central, and East Coast Territories.
- Prepare weekly schedule and book travel for Regional VM team. Coordinate hotels/CC authorizations, and flights.
- Create and implement Visual Merchandising Directives.
- Cross-collaborate with leadership to align visual merchandising initiatives with overall company objectives and promotional strategies.
- Develop and implement visual merchandising training programs for Regional VM’s, SM’s, and SC’s.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations of our retail locations ensuring adherence to brand standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Must have ongoing knowledge of what is happening in all retail stores.
- Work with IT team to ensure all in-store technology as it relates to visual standards is working.
- Monitor the performance of visual merchandising initiatives by analyzing sales data and customer feedback, using insights to refine strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Inventory Management and maintain visual inventory standards.
- Maintain tracking and execution of all in-store displays and be able to communicate this to leadership, for purpose of tracking effectiveness and data.
- Research and implement industry trends and best practices to enhance Aroma360’s visual merchandising capabilities.
- Identify tools, technology, and resources and implement those that will support scalable Visual merchandising efforts.
Office | Key Responsibilities
- Attend all key meetings regarding but not limited to product updates, seasonal product, launches, events, promotions/marketing, and store planning.
- Work closely and cross-collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Inventory, Creative, OPS, and Product Development.
- Initiate briefs to relevant departments and work with those departments to execute.
- Ensure that relevant information is being properly communicated to Regionals, Store Manager’s and Scent Consultant’s from HQ.
- Prepare presentations as required and convey ideas through 2D and 3D as needed.
- Meticulous record keeping and timely delivery of monthly expenses.
- Communicate with HQ about any relevant information obtained from the field
Retail Direction | Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Store Planning on New Showroom openings, ensuring visual standards and directives are in-place.
- Order all VM Display and VM related Décor while ensuring alignment with budget guidelines and cost efficiency.
- Review site plans and renderings to assess and determine the overall retail aesthetic, ensuring alignment with company objectives and visual merchandising direction.
- Work closely with Store Planning team to be aware of all store opening dates, changes to schedules and any implications this would have.
- Ensure Visual Inventory is allocated for all new store openings and manage and maintain CORE Inventory Lists.
- Travel as needed to open stores, ensuring seamless execution while working within tight deadlines.
- Communicate with Store Planning about any relevant information from HQ.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of multi-unit visual merchandising experience with luxury retail or related luxury industry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized, driven, energetic, proactive, and team spirited.
- Strong communication skills, and able to clearly present ideas to cross functional teams.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable reading Site Plans.
